  • Swanky Party Room: Wine Cabinet
  • A new paint job on an old cabinet makes it part of the party room.
    From "Fresh Coat"
    episode DFCT-304

    Figure A
As part of a garage-to-party room makeover, the Fresh Coat painters give this modest cabinet some flair (figure A). They keep the inside its original cherry red finish and add charcoal black to the outside for interest.

Next, they incorporate more Art Deco details with an adhesive stencil that will allows them to apply gold powder deco lines with precision and shine. The finish is varnish in a high gloss for the look of lacquer. Cool tool, adhesive stencils.
