| Rusty tobacco walls and a deep eggplant ceiling enlighten a beige room |
From "Fresh Coat" episode DFCT-302 |

|
A thick, solid coat of a rusty tobacco color in a matte finish is rolled on to add height and dimension to an otherwise beige room as well as show off the rich browns and beige of their furniture.Patrick already attempted a pearlescent sponge finish on the ceiling. The Fresh Coat team helps it along by scrubbing deep eggplant on the entire ceiling, then adds a layer of scrubbed metallic gold. The ceiling will sparkle with deep, rich color. And believe it or not, it's all accomplished with an ordinary kitchen sponge, which is great for really pushing a color into the surface and creating wonderful textures.
