Once you've completed the prep work, it's time to put the sink in its place.

Expert tip: As with any project, remember to review the manufacturer's instructions when installing any sink. The instructions seen here are for this specific vessel sink and these specific gooseneck faucet and handles used in this project.

    1. Make sure the water is off.

    2. Insert the sink faucets through the correct predrilled openings (figure A).

    3. Insert the drain through the vessel sink (figure B).

    4. Add to drain flange the tapered gasket (figure C).

    5. Add the flat washer (figure D).

    6. Add the lock nut (figure E).

    7. Add the tube (figure F).

    8. Connect both flexible tubes to the faucet tail pieces (figure G).

    9. Connect the same tubes with coupling nuts to their correct shut off valves. It's a good idea to replace the tubes and valves when replacing a sink or hardware.

    10. Connect the sink drain to the extension tube (figure H), then to the p-trap (figure I).

    11. Connect the p-trap to the branch drain stub-out (figure J).

Expert tip: Use slip fittings when installing the p-trap. It will allow for easy access to the drain later.

    12. Check all water connections.
