A casual living room in neutral, monochromatic colors with natural-fiber pillows of burlap and cotton (figure A) takes on a formal look with luxurious pillows of patterned velvet and brocade (figure B). Casual tabletop accessories (figure C) are replaced with gold-edged boxes, a small gold urn and a silver-and-gold beaded picture frame (figure D).
