  • Quick Tip: Pet Sunscreen
  • From "Ask DIY"
    episode ADI-301
    advertisement

Did you ever stop to wonder whether your pet is susceptible to sunburn? Well, the answer is yes. And the good news is that you can easily provide the protection he or she needs by purchasing a spray-on pet sunscreen at your local pet specialty retailer.

Just spray a little of the product on your hand and apply it to the ends of the ears, the snout and any other areas where fur is thin.

If your pet does become sunburned, smooth a bit of pure aloe on the affected areas to soothe irritation.
