    1. Start by marking a single piece of 4x8 plywood 3/4" thick as follows –

    Walls - 2 @ 23"x34-1/2" with 4" high by 3" deep notch
    Face Frame - 28"x31"
    Floor - 26-1/2"x23"
    Toe kick - 4"x23"
    Back Stretcher - 4"x23"
    Top Back Stretcher - 5"x23"
    Door (Big) - 23-3/4"x16-3/4"
    Hinged Door - 23-3/4"x6-3/4"

    2. Cut out all components with a table saw and a circular saw (figure A).

    3. Mark openings on the face frame for the doors 23"x16" and 23"x6". Leave 2-1/2" at the bottom of the face frame for both doors and makes sure that there is at least 2" between the doors. Drill pilot holes in the corners and use a jigsaw to cut out the door openings (figure B).

    4. Cut 10 cleats 4" long from a piece of 1-1/2"x1-1/2" wood.

    5. Attach cleats to the inside of the sidewalls at the toe kick and back stretcher rail locations using 2" wood screws and wood glue. Attach the toe kick and stretcher rails to the sidewalls by drilling them into the cleats. Then, cleat and attach floor (figure C).

    6. Attach cleats along the vertical front inside lengths of sidewalls. Place face frame and drill through frame into the cleats (figure D).

    7. Use wood putty to fill all holes left by the screws, after the putty dries sand it down smooth (figure E). Paint the entire structure.

    8. Finish the doors using a round-over router bit to route the round over along the outside perimeter of both doors (figure F). Flip both doors over and cut 3/8"x3/8" rabbit cut around the perimeter of each door using the router.

    9. Shim up 1" from the floor of the cabinet to allow clearance for drawer glides, and install store bought drawer glide system to the shims in the cabinet (figure G).

    11. Install the cabinet and attach to wall using angle brackets (figure I), and then attach counter top by screwing to the cabinet from underneath.

    12. The storage unit is complete (figure J)!
