    Figure C

You can slice apples in one of two ways: you can slice them vertically for a heart-shape look (figure A), or you can slice them horizontally and get a star-shape look (figure B). Try and get even slices. As soon as you slice them, immediately put them in lemon juice to keep them from browning. Soak them for about 15 minutes. Place on a cookie sheet and bake in 250-degree oven for 4 to 5 hours. Every once in a while you need to turn the apples over.

Hot glue the apple slices to a wreath base of your choice (figure C). You can use whatever color combination of apple you would like. You can add cinnamon sticks, herbs or whatever you choose. Once you have everything glued to the wreath you need to spray it with a clear acrylic to make it last longer. If you will not be using the wreath long, you can leave the spray off so you can enjoy the aroma.
