Following these tips from the Queen of Clean® will help you safely clean even your finest china, crystal and silver.

    • When washing crystal, put a towel in the bottom of the sink to keep it from chipping.

    • Wash with your hands, and add a splash of white vinegar to the water to give it an extra sparkle.

    • When it comes to silverware, skip the silver polish. Just put aluminum foil across the bottom of a container (make sure it's shiny side up). Measure a tablespoon of baking soda and sprinkle it over the foil. Now pour in boiling water and drop your tarnished silverware into the water. It'll come out bright and shiny once the water cools. (The Queen says this works because the baking soda reacts with the foil to release the tarnish.)
