    Materials:

    Cocktail tables
    Spray painted grass skirts
    Bright fabrics
    Exotic print fabrics
    Cigar boxes
    Pillar candles and bases
    Votive candles
    Box rock salt

    1. Place bright colored fabrics on the cocktail tables and place grass skirts around them (figure A). The Tiki Hut and the cocktails tables can be placed close to the pool area. The Tiki Hut will serve as the drink station.

    2. To create a Haitian Lounge, place exotic fabrics over your furniture and add some colorful pillows (figure B). An idea for a table in the lounge area, is to place a pillar candle and some votive candles in the center and place a heap of rock salt around the candles (figure C)

    3. In the Cuban Cafe area, where you can serve coffee and dessert, you can place another bar. Place cocktail tables there with bright colored clothes and add cigar boxes to the tables (figure D).
Expert Tip: One of the things you want to bear in mind when you are planning an event, is to put your drink station somewhere where it is easily visible. That way, when your guests arrive they will know exactly where to go; and, it helps to bring everyone into the house.

Expert Tip: If you prefer a simple look, use a lot of candles. Take a large clear bowl and add some floating candles. It looks sensational on the table.
