    Figure C

    Materials:

    3 large carved wood frames
3 sets of drawer handles with hardware
Screwdriver and any necessary tools for pilot holes and assembly
    Toile fabric
    Striped fabric
    Scissors
    Spray adhesive
    Double-stick tape

    1. Remove the glass and cardboard insert from the picture frame.

    2. Measure to find the center of the ends of the trays, and make a mark in the wood with an awl (figure A).

    3. Measure the handle and mark the center of it so that it will align with the center of the wood. Mark where the screws will be.

    4. It is time to drill the holes for the handles. Find a bit that is a little smaller than the width of the screw so that the threads can really grab onto the holes once you put the screws in the wood. Make sure you drill nice and straight (figure B).

    5. Attach the screws through the back with a screwdriver into the handles on the front of the picture frame (figure C).

    6. Spray one side of the cardboard insert with spray adhesive and attach the cloth. Make sure it is nice and smooth.

    7. Place the glass back into the picture frame and then lay the cardboard insert on the glass and secure the back of the frame with the notches provided.
Note: These trays can be used for other parties or decorative items around your house.

Expert Tip: Around your home you probably have great little knick-knack bowls and containers -- maybe a little candy dish that was given to you as a gift at your wedding or a house-warming party. They are great to use whether you use them for nuts, candies, little berries, olives -- just little things your guests can pick up and nosh on during the party.
