On a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the most difficult, this rates a 5 and is geared toward the seasoned party giver. Materials: Toile themed wallpaper
Decorative edge scissors
Black cardstock
Green cardstock
Spray Adhesive
Hole punch
French ribbon - Using the decorative edge scissors, cut a large oval out of black cardstock. Cut an oval out of the toile paper about 1/4 inch smaller all around than the black cardstock. Using spray adhesive, glue the toile paper to the black cardstock.
- Do the same thing for the back of the invitation, except use green cardstock and then cut out a design from the toile and glue it at the bottom center. Handwrite the party information on the green stock.
- Punch 2 holes at the top center of the invitation and loop a French ribbon through the holes and tie a bow.
Note: It is always a good idea to sketch a design of your party layout before you begin (figure A).
