    Western-themed Booklet Invitations

    Materials:

    Thin cardboard
    Denim paper
    Parchment paper
    Ruler
    Handheld hole punch
    Scissors
    Permanent marker
    Awl
    Needle nose pliers
    Glue sticks
    Western themed rubber stamps
    Ink pads
    Thick twigs
    Metal jean buttons
    Suede string

    1. For an old-time look, have someone take a picture of the host/hostess using a digital camera.

    2. Using computer photo software, make the photo look sepia-toned (figure A).

    3. Place nine images per page (figure B) and then print them out.

    4. Cut the photos out and write the invitation information on the parchment paper. This will become the inside pages of the booklets.

    5. Glue denim paper on the inside of your papers to give them a finished look.

    6. Punch 3 holes in the top of the booklets and tie them with suede string. Use metal jean buttons (figure C) and more string to close the booklets.

    7. Decorate the outside of the booklets with western-themed rubber stamps and glue the picture of the host/hostess on the cover using the thick twigs as a border around the picture (figure D).
