    Materials:

Printed (front and back) recipes on parchment paper
    Hole punch
    Ruler
    3 sheets of handmade paper
    Wide French ribbon
    Scissors
Wallpaper with floral and Victorian images
    Glue stick
    Hot glue gun
    Glue sticks
Tiny silk flowers with stems cut off
    Metallic ink pens

    1. Fold the parchment paper that has the recipes on it in half.

    2. Fold the handmade paper that you will use as a cover and then place the parchment paper inside.

    3. Make a couple of holes with the hole punch on the folded edge of the paper and use French ribbon as a spine (figure A).

    4. Cut out patterns from wallpaper to embellish the cover of the book. Glue them on and hot glue tiny silk roses to the center of the ribbons (figure B) to add to the Victorian look.

    5. Use a metallic pen to write the title on the book (figure C).

Expert Tip: Garry Lennon, Costume Designer, says to make your everyday clothes look more Victorian, keep in mind to keep your colors light and sunny. Maybe add a hat, a parasol and a pair of gloves and that would complete the outfit.
