    Materials:

    Pink tablecloth
Black fabric long enough to fit around your table
    Dishes for each ingredient
    Serving utensils for each ingredient
    8 to 10 glass blocks
    1 clear glass square vase
    1 clear cylindrical vase
    Xenoline
2 packs of glass beads used in flower arrangements

    1. Place the pink tablecloth on the table and then skirt the table all the way around with the black fabric. This is an easy way to make any table look very clean and classy. Make sure the bottom edge of the black fabric just touches the floor and is nice and even. Then, take simple stick pins and pin them every 6 inches pinning the fabric to the cloth (figure A). Place the pins right on the edge of the table -- this will help the skirt lay smooth and flat.

    2. Once you skirt the table, set out your glass blocks and food platters (figure B). The placement of the blocks will help divide the tabletop because you need to place ingredients on both sides of the table.

    3. Make some neon inspired flower arrangements with Xenoline. Mount the Xenoline on electrical wire with double stick tape (figure C). This will allow you to bend it into some fun shapes.

    4. The Xenoline strips are powered by a battery pack (figure D). Wrap the battery pack in bubble wrap and place the pack in the bottom of your vase. Use the glass beads to cover the battery pack. Add some blinking light sticks in the vase also.

    5. The vases anchor the glass block buffet. String the Xenoline from the vases to the ceiling (figure E).

Expert Tip: Cheryl Evanoff, VP of Regal Rents, says that if you are planning an event in your home and you are limited on space, a great way to save space is to have a two-sided buffet, which allows your guests to go down both sides of the buffet; however, if you are doing this you may want to consider using a wider table than the standard 30-inch wide table.
