- To create an invitation for this party we used Rubik's Cubes. On the yellow side (figure A) we wrote "dress '80's style on the top line," the street was written on the second line and on the bottom line we wrote "totally awe-some!"
- On the white side of the Cube we wrote the name of who was giving the party on the top line, 80's party on the second line and the time, date and phone number on the third line (figure B).
- Then scramble the cube up real good. The guests have to unsolve it to get the information.
Expert Tip: Marc Friedland, Image Expert, says that a great invitation should also convey an attitude, or certain sense of style. That sense of style and attitude is really important in the look and feel of the party as well. There should be a very significant connection between the invitation that you are doing and then the party that the guests experience; and that is really what you are providing them -- a great experience.
