Place strips of party gels on the windows behind the buffet (figure B) to give a colorful, geometric look. Expert Tips: Jorge Lopez, Technical "Wow" Director says that when you are having a karaoke party you need to keep in mind that the karaoke singing area is going to be the focal point of the party. Make sure you design your party around that area because that is where most of your guests are going to want to be looking at throughout the entertainment.
Chris Champagne, Visual Stylist, says that one good way to decorate for a party is to use your own collectibles (figure C). This will also bring in good conversation -- people will ask about the collections and it also gives a personal touch.
