Party favors enhance the appearance of your dinner table and are a pleasant surprise for guests to find at each seat. Author and designer Beverly Clark demonstrates how to create simple party favors that show your guests how much you care.
Perfect for a ladies' luncheon or tea, a bag of bath salts can be easily transformed into a decorative party favor: - Find a ribbon that is wide enough to wrap around the bag, then wrap it around the sides, turning the ends under at the top (figure A).
- Use another piece of ribbon to tie the folded ends together, forming a bow at the top of the bag. Trim the ends of the bow to the desired length (figure B).
- Hot-glue a craft flower in the middle of the bow for an elegant touch (figure C).
For a man's party favor, consider this miniature golf club that doubles as a pen. Simply wrap a napkin with raffia and stick the pen under the bow (figure D).
