Three wooden artist's figurines make an eye-catching display when you hang them on a wall and surround them with a fabulous frame.

Nancy Golden, host of DIY's Decorating and Design, offers suggestions for displaying three-dimensional objects as wall art.

To display three wooden artist's figurines, toys or other objects in which you don't mind drilling a hole:

    1. Drill a hole in the back of each (mark the drill bit with a piece of tape so you won't drill through the object).

    2. Slip the object onto a nail that you've already driven into the wall.

    3. Hang a frame around the arrangement, directly on the wall. If you wish, paint the area behind the frame opening a contrasting color before hanging the artwork.

To hang an object that you don't wish to damage by drilling into it, drive an eye-screw into the wall where you want to hang the object, and use fishing line to secure it.
