    Dilly Beans

    Ingredients:

3 lbs. of fresh sweet green beans
    6 garlic cloves, peeled
    6 bunches of dill
Several slices of red bell pepper
    3-1/4 cups of white vinegar
    3-1/4 cups of water
    1/8 cup pure salt
    Pint size jars

    Preparation:

Clean the beans and trim off both ends. Take the beans and line in your pint jar. Pack it fairly tightly. Add slices of red bell pepper. Add cloves of garlic. Add bunch of dill. Bring the vinegar, water and salt to a rapid boil. Pour the solution over the beans in the jar and fill to within a quarter inch of the top. Insert a plastic knife around the sides of the jar and make sure the bubbles are out. Clean the rim of the jar and seal.

    Serving: 6 pint jars
