    Cheese Chutney Spread

    Ingredients:

Two 8 oz. packages of cream cheese
8 oz. shredded sharp cheddar cheese, grated
    2 tsp. pepper sauce
    1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
6-10 oz. jar prepared chutney (relish made of fruit, spices and herbs)
Parsley and toasted almonds for garnish

    Preparation:

Blend cheddar and cream cheese with Worcestershire sauce and pepper sauce in food processor until creamy, dividing into 2 or more batches if necessary. Line a gelatin mold, cake pan or loaf pan with plastic wrap. Pour in cream cheese mixture. Allow to set in refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

Invert on a serving tray, removing plastic wrap. Spread top with chutney and garnish. Serve with crackers, crustinis (thin French bread slices brushed with olive oil and toasted) and/or crudites.

We at DIY believe all of the recipes from All in Good Taste are accurate and reliable, but since we have not tested them personally, we can claim no responsibility if the desired results are not achieved.
