    Yakitori Sauce

    Ingredients:

7 Tbs. sake (Japanese liquor made from fermented rice)
    3/4 cup soy sauce
3 Tbs. mirin (sweet rice wine)
    2 Tbs. sugar

    Preparation:

In a medium saucepan, bring all the ingredients to a boil. Turn heat down and simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until thickened. Set aside.

Skewer chicken, shrimp and beef. Grill until about 80 percent cooked (chicken will need more cooking time). Dip skewers into sauce, return to the grill and finish grilling until cooked completely.
