    Blueberry Crisp

    Ingredients:

    5 cups wild blueberries
    1/4 cup sugar
    1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
    2 apples, diced (1 cup)

    Preparation:

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Combine ingredients in a bowl. Pour into a well-buttered 9" by 9" baking dish and cover with topping mixture.

    Ingredients for topping:

    1/2 cup light brown sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 cup flour
    1/2 cup pecans, chopped
    1/2 cup rolled oats
    3 Tbs. butter or soft margarine
    Salt to taste

    Preparation:

    Combine ingredients with your hands, mixing roughly. Spread over fruit mixture and bake in preheated 325-degree oven for approximately 45 minutes, until the crust is golden brown.

    Yield: 6 to 9 servings
