    Bread Bits

    Ingredients:

    2 cups bread, cubed
    1/2 cup olive oil
    Salt to taste
    4 to 6 garlic cloves
    1/4 stick butter

    Preparation:

Start by tossing the bread cubes with half of the oil and salt to taste. Saute garlic in the other half of the oil and all of the butter on medium high heat. When garlic begins to turn golden, add bread cubes and saute until crisp and brown.

Serve as a snack with cheese.

    One serving = 2 cups

Chef's Note: These are wonderful croutons for soup or salads and a great way to use leftover bread.

We at DIY believe all of the recipes from All in Good Taste are accurate and reliable, but since we have not tested them personally, we can claim no responsibility if the desired results are not achieved.
