Many celebrities are just like the rest of us when it comes to food: the enjoy preparing it for the people they love -- and they're happy to share their favorite recipes. Here, three men with very different culinary hobbies give us some insight into how they relax away from the limelight.

    Mario Andretti
    Mario Andretti: Winemaking

For five decades Mario Andretti was the fastest thing on four wheels. Now, his racing days behind him, he's pursuing a new passion: winemaking. In 1996 he started the Andretti Winery in California's Napa Valley.

On the Celebrity Hobbies special, Andretti and his winemaker, Bob Pepi, conduct a tour of the winery and explain the winemaking process. Winemakers, they point out, are essentially farmers, so their work really begins with the plants and the soil in which they're grown. The ancient art of winemaking has been improved over the centuries until it has become highly refined and mechanized, but essentially the process remains the same as always. And despite the modernization, the old traditions are still valid: if a machine breaks down, you can still get splendid results form the old methods -- including crushing the grapes with your feet!

    Dave Koz
    Dave Koz: Special Eggs

Dave Koz enjoys cooking for his family and friends, and he knows that the most potent ingredient -- the one that makes your mom's cooking so special -- is love. Here's the recipe for a dish he cooks for the favorite people in his life.

    4 eggs
    1 Roma tomato, sliced
    l/2 Tbsp. cilantro
1/2 Tbsp. fresh green onions, chopped
    1 avocado, chopped
    1 zucchini, chopped
    Blue corn chips
    Soft corn tortillas
    Refried black beans
    Salsa to taste
    Shredded cheese

    1. Whisk the eggs and set aside.

    2. In a skillet, sauté the zucchini and onions for a few minutes.

    3. Add the eggs to the skillet and scramble.

    4. Add the remaining chopped vegetables and heat through.

    5. Crumble blue corn chips into the pan and toss to combine with egg mixture.

    6. Spread egg mixture onto a soft corn tortilla, top with chopped avocado, refried black beans, shredded cheese and salsa.

    Serves 4.

    Sammy Hagar
    Sammy Hagar: Tequila-Marinated Lobster Tacos

Sammy Hagar certainly knows his way around a stage -- but did you realize he's a whiz in the kitchen? His favorite cooking ingredient? That's easy: tequila! His restaurant, Cabo Wabo, in Mexico, produces its own signature tequila, and Hagar has become an ardent proponent of using the fiery liquor as an addition to a variety of dishes.

One of Hagar's favorite culinary delights is his Tequila-Marinated Lobster Tacos, a delicate blend of lobster meat, chilis, spices -- and tequila, of course! The dish is deceptively easy to make and will have you taking your own bows when you serve it!
