Ingredients: 2 dozen fresh oysters in the shell Rock salt to cover baking dish Approximately one cup barbecue sauce 4 to 5 slices of bacon, cut into 24 pieces about 2" long each Preparation: Shuck 2 dozen oysters and leave them in the deep side of the shell. Place oysters on a baking sheet that you've covered with a thin layer of rock salt (this holds them in place and keeps them from sticking). Spoon about 1 tablespoon of your favorite barbecue sauce on each oyster. Top with a piece of bacon. Bake at 450 degrees for about 6 minutes, or until bacon starts to brown.
