Materials:
Fabric panels
Measuring tape
Scissors
Fusible bonding tape
Glue gun
Iron
Wood lattice
Power drill
Masonry drill bit
Anchor bolts
Lead fishing weightsSteps:
1. Measure and cut fabric depending on desired width of panels.
2. Hem the bottom edge of fabric panel, using a fusible bonding tape. Set with an iron, using dry heat.
3. Wrap top edge of fabric twice around a thin piece of wood lattice, using either fusible bonding tape or a glue gun to adhere the fabric to the wood.
4. With a drill, predrill two holes in the wood lattice to insert the sleeve for a 1-1/4" anchor bolt.
5. Measure to determine where the lattice will go, and predrill holes in the cinderblock walls. (Be sure, when drilling into cinderblock/concrete, to use a masonry drill bit.)
6. Line up the holes in the lattice over the holes in the cinderblock and drill into place.
7. Line bottom hem of fabric with lead fishing weights (figure A) to help the panels hang right and to add to the industrial look (figure B).
