    Materials:

    4 cardboard toilet-paper tubes
    Knife or small saw
A selection of candies (i.e., gumdrops, Gummibears, M&M candies, sours, hard candies), beads or faux jewels
2 yards of 1"-wide grosgrain ribbon
    Glue gun
    White glue
    12 plain place cards

    1. Cut toilet-paper rolls into 3 pieces, each 1-1/2" long (figure A). Discard the rest.

    2. Coat inside of cardboard rings with Elmer's glue and affix ribbon to inside diameter (figure B). Tuck edge under and glue. Allow to dry.

    3. Repeat for outside of roll and allow to dry. Then use glue gun to affix candies to outside of roll (figure C). Fill in gaps with smaller candies and allow to dry.

    4. To create place cards, glue around the edges and affix candies, or write the person's name in glue and affix candies. Let dry.
