Craft author Joe Lamancusa likes to get teens involved in crafting. From decorating a notebook for class to dressing up a hair barrette, his ideas will make any item stand out. One of his favorite ways to decorate school notebooks is to utilize the unique designs from Z. Barton Productions. Lamancusa suggests choosing embellishments that reflect personal tastes and interests. An alternative is to decorate the notebook by theme -- for example, dressing up a folder for music class using musical notes (figure A).
