Kids can express imagination by creating character faces. Christy Feke demonstrates how a few craft materials can bring out kids' creativity (figure A). Materials: Several sheets of craft felt in various colors Scissors Adhesive-backed Velcro Using a large piece of felt, cut a circle for the face. Next, cut out a variety of different eyes, ears, noses and mouths. Stick the adhesive-backed Velcro on the backs of the pieces to attach them to the face and allow for quick creation of new faces.
