    Figure B

DIY Crafts host Mary Lyon describes how to turn a detergent box into a princess box that any little girl would love.

    Materials:

Cardboard detergent box with flip-up lid
    Fabric
    Lace
    Pearls
    Headbands
    Wooden dowel
    Silver pipe cleaner
    White feather boa
Cover the outside of a cardboard flip-top detergent box with fabric. Glue lace around the lid.

    1. Create a magic wand from a silver pipe cleaner shaped into a star and wrapped around the top of a wooden dowel (figure A).

    2. Fill the box with a piece of pink fabric, nylon tulle, headbands that can be decorated with lace or pearls, ribbon and sequins.

    3. Gather a piece of fabric, nylon tulle, ribbon and lace together, and wrap in the center with a silver pipe cleaner. Tape it to a little girl's back to create fairy wings (figure B).
