Delight Grandma by presenting her with stationery designed by her grandchildren's little hands. Carol Duvall, host of HGTV's The Carol Duvall Show, discusses a number of designs that her young helpers made. And with a little planning and a few folds, children can transform standard letter-sized stationery into custom note cards. The possibilities are endless when you combine children's creativity with a supervising adult's crafting know-how.

    Materials:
    White copy paper
    Black markers
    Crayons or color markers
    Plastic wrap
    Ribbon
    Cardboard

    1. Have the kids draw designs along the edges of standard white copy paper (figure A).
    2. Duplicate the designs several times on a copy machine.
    3. Have the children color their designs.
    4. Stack the sheets of paper on top of one another, and place the stack on a piece of cardboard backing.
    5. Wrap the entire package with plastic wrap, and tie it with ribbon (figure B).
