Young crafter Jerry helps Kitty Bartholomew, host of HGTV's Ask Kitty, frame original children's drawings with Popsicle sticks. Kitty frames another piece of art using lavender stems. Materials: Cardboard or foam board Craft or Popsicle sticks in various sizes White glue Craft knife Craft jewels Artwork - Mount the artwork on cardboard or foam board.
- Glue craft sticks around the perimeter of the artwork to create a frame.
- Add other craft sticks glued at angles to connect adjacent sides. Embellish with jewels (figure A).
Variations: - Tie small bunches of lavender stems together, and glue them to the craft-stick picture frame (figure B).
- Tie small birch branches together and glue them to the frame (figure C).
