Succulents in a hanging basket are easy-care and have southwestern flair.

Want to add a Southwestern flavor to your decor? Start small, with a hanging basket of succulents and cactus, says show host Kim Haworth. This is the planting procedure she recommends:

    1. Line a wire basket with coconut fiber mat..

    2. Fill the basket with succulent and cactus potting mix.

    3. Add a mix of succulent plants such as aloe vera. Lay the plants at an angle to the side of the basket so they show to advantage.

    4. Top off the basket with more cactus potting mix. Add water, and you're done!
