    Topics covered on today's episode:

Tying a new patio roof in to the existing roofline

    Installing gutter guards

    Pitching a flat roof

    Standing on a steep roof

Keeping mice out of walls where siding is pulled away

    Installing vinyl siding

    Treatment for vinyl siding

Altering water flow away from crawl space

    Installing a French drain

Mortaring flagstone to change water flow

Removing sulfur smell from well water

Correct size heater for a Jacuzzi

    Tips:

    • Wrap the handles of your roofing tools with several thick rubber bands. The soft rubber will grip the shingles and reduce the chance of any tools sliding off your roof.

    • Using a low scaffold of sturdy sawhorses and 2x12s is safer and more productive than reaching from a ladder.
