    Making Your Own Postage Stamp

    • In your browser, go to the postage site you like and click on the create custom postage option. Then click the "get started" button. That will load the website's design wizard.

    • Click on the browse button and then navigate to the photo you want to use. When you find it, double click on the photo to select it. The file name will appear in the wizard.

Browsing Tip: If you're unsure of the photo file from it's name, you can always change the display option in the window to thumbnail so you can see a sample of the image.

    • If you would like to add text to your stamp, just type it into the optional ‘add some text box'. Remember to keep the text to as few words as possible as stamps are small. Now go ahead and click the "Make it" Button to upload your design to the postage service.

    • Once your photo is uploaded, your design will appear in the sample stamp window. Click on the "customize it" tab to add color to the text or modify your design.

    • To start improving the design, click on the photo file button to edit the picture. Use the arrow keys to reposition your on the stamp. By clicking on the magnifying glass you can zoom in or out on the photo.

    • When the picture is in position, you can finalize your text. Click on the font button to bring up the selection of type styles available. Scroll through the font list and click on the one that works best with your picture. The new font will appear in the sample stamp window.

    • Now click on the color selector in the font appearance box. Pick the color you like by clicking on it. Finally choose the text size and, if necessary, adjust the text's position.

    • When you've got the stamp designed the way you want, you have the option of emailing, so others can order copies, publishing it so anyone with internet access can look it over, or choosing a quantity and ordering them yourself.

You're done. I doesn't get much easier then that!
