Bathtub Installation
1. The tub needs to sit on a solid, level surface. If needed, add cement board to make up the height difference (figure A).
2. To minimize sound from the tub motor, stuff insulation in the sides of the tub deck before closing the walls (figure B).
3. Apply construction adhesive with a 1/4" square-notch trowel where the tub will meet the floor (figure C).
4. Place tub in the opening. Measure both ends to ensure a straight, centered fit (figure D).
Light Installation
1. Connect the ground wire from the light to the ground screw (figure E).
2. Connect the other wires with wire nuts.
3. Put in a light bulb to test the fixture before securing it to the wall (figure F).
4. Mount the fixture on the wall with the provided nut caps.
5. Add the globes and light bulbs (figure G).
Shower Fixture Installation
1. Attach escutcheon set for the volume and thermostatic controls (figure H).
2. Wind Teflon tape over the end of the shower arm and screw. Attach the shower head to the shower arm (figure I).
Wall-mount Mirror Installation
1. Mark the location of the screws to hang the mirror.
2. The holes will need to be pre-drilled through the tile. First, tap the screw locations with a nailset to remove the glaze. This will prevent the drill bit from slipping and scratching the tile.
3. Use a drill, on the hammer setting, with a carbide masonry bit to pre-drill the holes (figure J).
4. Attach brackets and hang mirrors (figure K).
