    Custom-made Vanity Installation

    1. Measure the location of the plumbing and transfer the measurements to the back of the cabinet. Using a bit, mark the locations on the inside.

    2. Take a hole saw to the inside of the cabinet and push all the way through (figure A).

    3. Find the studs in the wall behind where the vanity is going to be installed.

    4. Pull a plumb line from the stud marks. These lines will guide the placement of the screws.

    5. Slide the cabinet into place and drill pilot holes to prevent any splintering in the wood.

    6. Drive 2-1/2 inch drywall screws through the pilot holes and into the studs behind the wall, anchoring the cabinet to the wall (figure B).

    Faucet Installation

    1. Attach the hot and cold water lines to the bottom of the faucet stem. These lines will connect directly to the shutoffs (figure C).

    2. Snug up the connections with a small adjustable wrench.

    3. Roll out a quarter inch bead of plumber's putty and press it inside the trim ring to create a watertight seal between the faucet and the counter.

    4. Attach the faucet to the countertop with the half moon mounting washer and mounting post nut (figure D).

    5. Attach the flexible hoses to the hot and cold shutoffs and tighten the nuts with the adjustable wrench.

    6. Finish the installation of the faucet before dropping in the sink.

    7. Another bead of plumbers putty goes around the drain stem.

    8. From the bottom, place a rubber washer then a metal nut to tighten the entire drain system (figure E).

    9. The last piece of drain assembly has a small hole on the side, which will connect to the pop-up.

    10. Before dropping the sink, run a line of silicone around the bottom lip (figure F).
