  • From "Kitchen Renovations"

    Materials:

    Vent

    screw gun
    safety glasses
    electric hand planer
    wire nuts
    electrical tape
    impact driver
    spade bit
    jigsaw

    Faucet

    speed square
    grease pencil
    drill
    diamond tipped hole saw
    locking pliers
    crescent wrench

    Re-circulating Vent Installation

    1. Screw 2x4 cleats to the underside of the cabinet so there is a solid support to secure the vent liner (figure A). Attach the liner to the cleats with the provided screws (figure B).

    2. Dry fit the vent (figure C). If the cabinet needs modification, use a handheld power planer (figure D).

    3. Connect the wires from the vent to the junction box.

    4. Cut a hole in the cabinet to allow air to circulate (figure E). A grate over the hole will prevent things from falling in.

    5. Attach vent with the provided screws (figure F).

    Faucet Installation

    1. Mark the locations for the faucet and sprayer with a grease pencil (figure G).

    2. Drill holes through the granite tile with a diamond-edge masonry hole saw. Cut a sponge the size of your hole saw, stuff the sponge in the saw and dip it in water. This keeps it damp so it doesn't overheat (figure H).

    3. Once you are through the granite, change to a wood hole saw to go through the plywood (figure I).

    4. Place faucet in hole and tighten the fittings (figure J).
