    Tin Ceiling Installation

    1. Work off the two longest walls in the room. Make an "L" and continue from there.

    2. Start by snapping a chalk line on the longest run. Place first panel along the line and screw it into place (figure A). Extra screws are needed in the starter tile, but they will be covered by trim (figure B). All the other tiles will tie into each other.

    3. Snap the second panel onto the first and snug it together with a hammer and tapping block (figure C). Use a T-square to check that the panels are running straight (figure D). The rest of the panels connect the same way.

    4. A rotary tool can be used to make cutouts for light fixtures (figure E). Set the panel in place, mark approximately where the light is and secure the panel with screws. Make a pilot hole with a drill. Place the rotary tool bit in the pilot hole, cut to the edge then just follow around the opening (figure F).
