Cabinets Installation
1. Start with the corner base cabinet. Shim the cabinet until it is level (figure A), pre-drill through back nailing strip and secure to wall with 3" screws (figure B).
2. Set next cabinet in place. Level it with the corner cabinet and clamp the two together. Pre-drill through the sides of the cabinets and screw together (figure C). Add shims for support then attach it to the wall.
3. For installation of the sink base, mark location of plumbing and cut out the opening with a jigsaw (figure D).
4. To hang the upper cabinets, build supports out of 2x4s and set them on top of a couple pieces of plywood to bring the height up to 18", the standard distance between the countertop and upper cabinets. The base cabinets are already level so it eliminates the need to level the upper cabinets (figure E).
5. Pre-drill and attach the cabinets to the walls with 3" screws (figure F).
6. Attach hinges to the cabinet doors, hold it up to the cabinet and mark location of hinges. Pre-drill, then attach the hinges with the provided screws (figure G).
