    Materials:

    tub waste and overflow
    Allan wrench
    pliers
    bucket

    Bathtub

    1. Before bringing in the tub, set a few 2x4s on the floor (figure A). This will keep the tub off the deck to protect your fingers before dropping in.

    2. Once the tub is sitting on the lower boards, set another 2x4 under the lip of the tub (figure B). Remove the lower boards (figure C). To remove the top boards, use a crow bar and another 2x4 as a lever and fulcrum to raise up the tub.

    3. The tub and faucet system for this project consists of three parts (faucet spout, handheld sprayer and handles) (figure D).

    4. Remove the test plug from the spout stem. Hold the stem in place with pliers and then unscrew the plug with a wrench (figure E). Set the spout sleeve over the stem, and then the spout (figure F).

    5. Install the handheld lever (figure G). This switches the water flow from the spout to the handheld sprayer.

    6. Assemble the handle then place it over the spline. Tighten the finish flange down to the tile, making sure the handle ends in the desired "off" position (figure H).

    7. Finally, drop the wand hose into the wand finish flange and set the sprayer (figure I).
