    Tap the wall into place with a hammer and check for plumb.
    PHOTO

    Make a pilot hole with a spade bit, then use a jigsaw to cut out the hole for the lights.
    Materials:

    Frame Pantry

    2x4s
    framing nailer
    reciprocating saw
    safety glasses
    hammer level

    Beadboard Ceiling

    tape measure
    level
    pencil
    miter saw
    finish nailer
    safety glasses
    jigsaw

    Frame Pantry

    1. Take measurements and cut 2x4s to correct size.

    2. Lay out the studs and attach them with a framing nailer.

    3. Once all the studs are secure, cut out the threshold with a reciprocating saw.

    Install Beadboard Ceiling

    1. Locate and mark joists on ceiling. Connect the marks with a six-foot level.

    2. Cut beadboard to length on a sliding compound miter saw.

    3. Apply a bead of construction adhesive on the back of the panels then set it in place. Secure the beadboard to the ceiling with a finish nailer.

    4. Measure the location of light fixtures and use the can light template and trace on the back of the beadboard.
