    screw driver
    painter’s tape
    pry bar
    primer
    rollers
    joint compound
    water
    hand mixer
    hopper gun
    compressor
    straight edge

    Wall Texture

    1. Turn off the power.

    2. Unscrew and remove all the face plates and switch plates (figure A).

    3. Add painter's tape around the windows and doors.

    4. Use a pry bar to remove the outdated shoe molding and base boards (figure B).

    5. Tape a plastic sheet over the windows to protect them from the spray of the texture.

    6. Prime the walls with one thick, even coat to prepare them for the spray on texture (figure C).

    7. Let primer dry to the touch.

    8. Mix the spray on texture with a hand mixer.

    9. Dump into hopper and spray onto the walls in a sweeping motion, back and forth, about four feet from the surface of the walls (figure D).

    10. Let the spray on texture dry for about an hour (figure E).

    11. Using a soft touch, use the straight edge tool to knock down the texture (figure F).
