Crown Molding
1. Speed crown of various sizes can installed on top of existing crown for a more polished look.
2. Using wood glue and finishing nails, put corner blocks in each of the four corners of the room (figure A).
3. With the speed crown cut to the desired length, nail it against the existing trim and into the ceiling above (figure B).
4. Butt the crown tightly against each of the corner blocks.
5. Finally, fill all the gaps and nail holes with wood putty and then touch them up with paint.
