    Modular Cabinet Installation

    1. Put the different units into place and make sure everything fits (figure A).

    2. Use a drill to attach to walls (figure B).

    3. To attach the handles, first determine the best height for your needs.

    4. Build a template to ensure handles will be attached level.

    5. Take measurements from the bottom of the cabinets (figure C). Then, use scrap wood longer than the measurements to use as a template (figure D). Use more scrap wood or trim and attach on either side of the bottom of the wood (figure E). These will be your stops. Stops help ensure the alignment of the handles by referencing off the bottom of the doors (figure F).

    6. Transfer the measurements using the stops as a guide.

    7. Drill holes in the template spaced for the handles.

    8. By putting the stop on both sides of the template, it can be used for opposite swing doors (figure G).

    9. To use the template, put the stop flush against the bottom of the door and use a clamp to hold it in place (figure H).

    10. Drill through the pre-placed holes in the template for an exact measurement (figure I).

    11. Repeat the template on all doors that need handles (figure J).
