    Condenser/Evaporator

    1. For the evaporator, cut a small hole in the wall (figure A) and attach the mounting plate with wall anchors (figure B).

    2. Feed the compressor connections through the hole. These connections will provide the power and cool air.

    3. Install the evaporator onto the mounting bracket (figure C). The evaporator removes the heat and replaces it with cool air.

    4. On the exterior, the platform for the condenser is constructed.

    5. Out of pressure treated wood, build a frame and set it onto a level surface.

    6. Secure the frame to the group with stakes.

    7. Add sand and use a 2x4 screed to level it. On top of the sand, place pavers (figure D). Then, fill the seams in between with sand.

    8. Finally, set the condenser unit onto the pad (figure E).

    Wine Rack Construction

    1. The wine racks, made of redwood, came in a precision kit.

    2. Once all the pieces were accounted for, the homeowners followed the instructions to build.

    3. Use a cordless drill to assemble.

    4. As a tip, use pilot holes to be sure the screw holes are centered.

    5. Secure the racks together with screws, and then attach to the wall with metal brackets (figure F).
