    9. Round over the edges of the cabinet with a 3/8-inch round-over bit (figure K). To support the face of the router, be sure to temporarily attach block of wood to the sides of the cabinet.

    10. Attach the shelf and mount the shelf to the base of the entertainment center between the two pre-made cabinets (figure L).

    11. Next, measure out for the top. Once the top of the entertainment center is cut to size, round over the edges using a router (figure M).

    12. To help support the weight of the TV set, a ledger strip was installed into the studs in the wall (figure N).

    13. Using screws, the plywood top was secured to the cabinets and ledger strip (figure O).

    14. Using a jigsaw, a curve was cut out close to the curved lines (figure P). Then, the edges were smoothed with a sander.

    15. To match the base, round over the edges with a round-over bit using the hand router.

    16. Mount the side panels, also made from Finland birch (figure Q).

    17. Install the back panel (figure R). Use two-inch finishing nails and drive them into the wall studs.
