    Sliding Glass Door Removal

    1. Remove the screen panels by lifting them up and out of the track (figure A).

    2. Lift out the glass sliders the same way. You may want to get another person to help because the panes can be heavy (figure B).

    3. Unscrew the brackets holding the stationary panel.

    4. Using a drill, unscrew the frame from the wall.

    5. With the pry bar, loosen and remove the exterior facing and interior molding (figure C). If you plan to reuse the facing or interior molding, try not to damage it with the pry bar.

Tip: Be sure the underlying concrete is scraped clean in order to get good adhesion between the caulk and the new door.
