At the end of the second day and the project, Reviez rests on his laurels ? and the new sink in this remodeled bathroom!

    1. Give the drywall one last quick sanding, and then it's time to paint. Use a 50-grit sandpaper for this last application.

Tip: It's important to use a quality paintbrush for this type of job because cheap brushes can leave lines and streaks.

    2. Once the wall is painted (figure A), all that's left is installing the fixtures.

    3. Begin installing the light fixtures by attaching the mounting brackets (figure B) to the remodel boxes.

    4. Connect the wires, white to white, black to black and ground to ground, making sure to attach the ground wires to the grounding screw (figure C) on the mounting bracket.

Safety Alert: As with any electrical project, safety should be your first concern. If you're not 100-percent comfortable making the electrical connections yourself, you should contact a qualified electrician. Be sure to turn off the power at the breaker box before installing the lights.

    5. The fixture slips over the mounting post and is secured with a decorative nut. Add the bulbs and shades, turn the breaker back on, and you're set with the light fixtures.

    6. The sink goes in next. First, assemble each sink by attaching the drain, the faucet, followed by the handles. Lastly, the stopper goes in.

    7. Dry fit the pedestal and the sink against the wall so you can mark where you need to fasten them to the floor and the wall.

    8. Pre-drill the marks and set the unit back in place (figure D).

    9. Use lag bolts to secure the pedestal to the floor and to attach the sink to the wall.

    10. Hookup the drain pipes, attach the supply lines, turn the water back on, check for leaks and test the faucet.

    11. Hang the medicine cabinet by placing drywall anchors (figure E) in the wall.

    12. Apply the mounting bracket for the medicine cabinet, and then slide the cabinet into the bracket.

    13. Using the same anchors with another bracket to hold the top, secure the cabinet to the wall.

    14. The doors attach with screws.

    15. Finally, attach the decorative side panels.
