When you have to mix up concrete there are several different options: - Use a wheelbarrow, hoe and shovel.
- Rent a mixer.
- Call in a cement-mix truck.
OR - You can get your own mini-version of the cement-mix truck -- the mortar mixer. Here's all you have to do:
- Pour in the cement mix.
- Pour in the water.
- Put the lid, which screws on, on the mortar mixer (figure A).
- Simply roll the bucket on its side for one complete revolution, lift the bucket onto it's lid, back to the bottom and roll around again. You want to repeat the process three time.
- And you have the perfect mix (figure B).
